YOU'LL NEED
- 8mm or 5/16" Allen Wrench (to install pedal to crank arm).
- 2mm or 5/64" Allen Wrench to install or remove the stud screws.
- Threadlocker (any brand) in blue color (low strength) or green color (medium strength) for replacing or installing pins.
*(Do not use thread locker on the rubbery studs as this will damage the stud material).*

Step 1
To install or replace the pins, use an Allen Wrench (either 2mm or 5/64").
Take care not to overtighten. We recommend using either green or blue color threadlocker on the threads during installation or replacement.

Step 2
Place the stud on top of the pin and push down firmly. The stud will stretch over the threads and lock itself in place.
Do NOT use thread locker on this section of the pin that comes into contact with the rubber stud, as it will damage the material.
STUD REMOVAL

To remove or replace studs, simply unscrew them from the pins.
We recommend using pliers to loosen the stud to begin with, then using your fingers for the remaining unscrewing process.
This will expose the pin underneath, which is then ready to receive a replacement stud. To remove the pin, use an Allen wrench (2mm or 5/64").
